What we built

Loyle Carner returned to Glastonbury to headline the Other Stage with a set that had to feel close up while playing to a field and a broadcast audience at once.

We supplied the Disguise media server system, video infrastructure, show network and timecode distribution, all specified for a headline slot where there is no second attempt.

To get the intimacy the creative wanted, we fabricated a mic stand camera in house at Brooklands Studio: close enough for the shot, invisible in the BBC coverage. Twelve 4K cinema grade mini cams sat concealed around the band risers alongside it.

Their custom mic stand camera and 4K Disguise system helped us achieve an intimate, cinematic feel on one of the festival’s biggest stages.
